Peter Stoett has a PhD from Queen’s University and is currently the Dean of Social Science and Humanities at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He was previously a professor and Chair in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University in Montreal and Director of the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre. He was part of the original team that applied for the first Say Ca Fulbright grant. He also serves on the Board of Governors of Durham Outlook for the Needy in Ontario.
Kate Woolhouse is the Organization Learning and Development Specialist for the City of Kingston, Ontario. She has Master’s degree from Concordia University in Human Systems Intervention and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University. Prior to transitioning into the field of applied behavioral sciences she worked in education and youth leadership development, contributing to the growth of psycho-social programming across the Montreal area. Kate is a certified facilitator of Social System Transformation Design and brings leading edge social innovation methodologies into organizational settings. Her goal as a Board member of Say Ça! is to help guide the organization towards holistic, collaborative, and meaningful ways of being and working together.
Ben is the Director of Operations for the Abraham Path Initiative, a US-based non-profit that seeks to inspire people worldwide through stories, trekking, and hospitality along the international path of Abraham in the Middle East. Ben is also the Founder of the tech startup Cabot7 and an accomplished professional with domestic and international experience in the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors. He is specialized in humanitarian assistance, and spent more than ten years in and out of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, working with governments, multi-laterals and civil society on resilience, technical assistance and economic development, as well as disaster risk reduction and food security. The many years of working with refugees and displaced populations overseas highlights how inspirational and important is the Say Ça! mission of education and transition assistance.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from American University, a certificate in Mediation from the University of Southern Maine, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
